
I’m James, founder of Bloom. For more than 20 years, I built and ran a successful creative and digital marketing agency on the South Coast of England. Before that, I worked within agencies as a designer and strategist, developing brands, campaigns and digital platforms for organisations ranging from well-known national brands to ambitious growing businesses.
Running my own agency gave me more than marketing experience. It gave me perspective. I understand the pressure of leading a business, balancing growth with stability and making decisions that have real consequences. That understanding shapes how I work today.
After selling the agency, I took time to reflect on where I could add the most value. What I enjoyed most was not simply producing campaigns, but helping business owners gain clarity, define direction and build sustainable momentum. Bloom was created to provide structured, founder-led marketing support grounded in practical experience rather than passing trends.
I work directly with founders and leadership teams who want their marketing to feel aligned, deliberate and commercially effective. Together, we clarify positioning, strengthen digital presence, build consistent visibility and support growth across brand, content and e-commerce channels.
